We had a small class in Body Trim yesterday (Reading Week) and so I decided to use body bars, just to add a little challenge. (Normally we don't have enough body bars to go around.)
We did the usual lunges and squats, but this time I was holding and extra 10 lbs above my head. Today: ouch ouch ouch! What a difference that makes! I have to stop myself from moaning every time I get up out of a chair. My poor quads and glutes are so very sore.
I hope my participants are alright!

That's exactly how it feels when you're 10 lbs overweight. Now imagine what it's like when you're 100 lbs overweight, and it's not the glutes and quads but the heart that's really sore!
