Total Lack of Conservation of Mass

I followed a recipe from my CSA farm which had me grate cabbage and carrots and onions and fry it all up a bit and then bake it with some egg and cheese. Somehow, a big food-processor bowl of vegetable matter ended up a slim layers of baked goodness in a small pan.

It was tasty at least.

What you had there was a neutron vegetable mass whose gravity was great enough that it collapsed all the cabbage, carrot
onion atoms into a densely packed pan of undifferentiated vegetable goodness.

Being a neutron star specialist (not kidding), I concur ;)
